Job Summary:

The NORM Labourer is a key member of our team responsible for assisting with the decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) waste. This role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the detection, surveying, handling, and decontamination of oilfield equipment and waste
  • Clean equipment using high-pressure water blast equipment
  • Sample, document, and store waste
  • Maintain decontamination equipment and facilities
  • Perform daily operations and inspections to meet client and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Preference given to those with post-secondary education or oilfield experience and relevant certifications
