Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 10026077 Manitoba Ltd. as a Financial Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Prepare and review financial reports
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Prepare and process financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and other expenses
    • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks
Requirements
  • Education
    • College diploma or equivalent in Accounting or related field
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
