As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and functional independence of our residents. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing their needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including adaptive equipment training, activity modifications, and functional exercises.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and seamless transitions.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to promote independence and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with current licensure in British Columbia.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
