Role Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Recreation Therapy Specialist, you will play a crucial role within our multidisciplinary team, bringing our Recreation Therapy initiatives to fruition.

Your creativity and passion will be evident as you design and facilitate a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, music, culinary arts, gardening, and physical fitness.

Each program is tailored to meet the specific preferences and needs of our residents, ensuring their active participation and enjoyment.

Your organizational abilities will be essential as you prepare for programs and special events, instruct activity techniques, and supervise resident involvement, guaranteeing a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

You will also have the chance to accompany residents on various outings, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary items and coordinating with healthcare staff.

Whether you are conducting individual sessions, group activities, or larger events, you will modify programs to address the physical, social, cognitive, spiritual, and emotional requirements of our residents.
