We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to our residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional, safe, and effective nursing care to residents in accordance with Continuing Care goals and objectives.
- Work collaboratively with the Coordinator of Resident Care to ensure the highest level of care is provided to residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the health and well-being of residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Current knowledge in the field of geriatric nursing.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff, residents, physicians, and the public.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of professional groups.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan.
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
