- Training: Certification in Developmental Services Worker (DSW), Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), and Cultural Awareness Training is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Judgment and Ethics: Demonstrate sound judgment and adhere to ethical standards.
- Client Focus: Prioritize the needs and well-being of clients.
- Flexibility and Initiative: Adapt to changing situations and take proactive steps in service delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle, with the willingness to travel.
- Background Checks: Successful completion of a criminal record check and driving record check is mandatory.
Previous experience in community service organizations is considered an asset.
