About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Jiby Mathew. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Develop and implement engaging and educational activities to promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment, including meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping.
  • Child Supervision: Provide one-on-one attention and supervision to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily updates and progress reports.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other childcare providers and support staff to ensure seamless care and support for children.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and honesty.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Employer's home, own home, or staff accommodation available.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
