Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, health information, and other relevant details.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Background Check: A criminal record check and bondable status are required.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: The position will be based in the employer's home.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
