Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Finance and Tax Director for a prominent energy organization situated in the Lanaudière region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accounting department, managing a team of five professionals.
  • Conduct performance analyses and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Offer strategic insights and recommendations to enhance profitability.
  • Perform account receivable revenue reconciliations.
  • Assess risks and develop robust internal policies and controls.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, including sales tax, excise tax, and carbon tax.
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns.
  • Participate in year-end audits and liaise with government entities.
  • Execute additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a CPA designation.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and French.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, plus a bonus structure.
