Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Service Associate to join our team at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary experiences to our guests and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding food service to our guests and residents, ensuring that every interaction is professional and courteous.
  • Learn and master our menu and ingredients, with the ability to make recommendations and suggest pairings.
  • Ensure food is served hot or at the prescribed temperature, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Upsell specials and premium sides to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with the Food and Beverage production team to ensure seamless execution of orders and guest requests.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, delivering orders in a timely manner and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process payments and operate the point of sale system accurately and efficiently.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating to a supervisor or manager as needed.
  • Ensure all supplies are stocked before starting each shift, maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Prepare tables for guests before their arrival, ensuring a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional service and create a memorable experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work weekends and flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our Food and Beverage outlets.
  • Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field is an asset.
  • Previous hospitality experience is an asset, particularly in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada full-time is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Experience with restaurant point of sale systems is an asset.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds is required.
