Data Strategist and Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Data Strategist and Planner to join our team at GTT, LLC and help build a Federated Data Ecosystem. As a key member of our Data and Content Management Division, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data services that drive innovation and efficiency across the government.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute data strategies that align with organizational goals and leverage cutting-edge technologies.
  • Data Ecosystem Development: Build a robust Federated Data Ecosystem that enables seamless data sharing, analysis, and governance.
  • Platform Design: Architect and implement data platforms that support diverse data needs, including analytics, AI, machine learning, and more.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to data governance standards and compliance regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, address challenges, and drive adoption of data initiatives.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data-related projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data management, strategy, or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of data architectures, platforms, and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, cloud platforms).
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
