This role is responsible for assisting the parts department with the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the parts team to load trucks and sea containers with finished goods, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Conduct thorough inspections of crates and bundles for damage during the loading process, maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Assist in inventory counting and tracking, ensuring accurate records and minimizing errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and slippery surfaces, while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Forklift experience is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
- Physical fitness to handle goods, steel, and products, with a maximum lifting capacity of 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong attendance record, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues.
