Community Therapists - Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Vernon and surrounding areas. As a Community Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of funders to assist clients with a range of limitations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional assessments and job site visits to develop graduated activity and/or graduated return to work plans
  • Liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and implement therapeutic strategies to facilitate clients' success and independence in home and community settings
  • Collaborate with our team of PTs, Kinesiologists, Rehabilitation Assistants, and Counsellors to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is an asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
  • Current membership with COTBC or eligibility for registration
