Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Comfort Keepers Halifax. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration. If you are a caring and compassionate individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with clients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
