Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Comfort Keepers Halifax. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with clients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
