Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality legal advice and support to clients in the areas of banking and financial services;
  • Assist in the preparation and review of complex financial transactions and agreements;
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities;

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of post-call banking and financial services private practice experience from a national or reputable regional law firm;
  • Experience in acquisition financing, corporate lending transactions, project financing, and other debt financing transactions;
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills;
  • Strong academic credentials;
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills and the ability to work well on a variety of teams;
  • Qualified to practice law in Canada.
