Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at MacIntyre Family. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and household support to our family.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering a sense of responsibility and independence.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality in meeting commitments.
Work Setting:

Our home-based childcare setting provides a warm and nurturing environment for our children. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will work closely with our family to ensure the best possible care and support for our children.

Security and Safety:

We prioritize the safety and security of our children and household. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment, adhering to our household's security protocols, and reporting any concerns or incidents to the parents.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available for your convenience. However, we require you to have a reliable means of transportation to and from work.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be required to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, which may involve repetitive tasks. You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and be physically able to perform the duties of the role.
