The Maintenance Planner/Specialist plays a critical role in the coordination of all activities within the Preventative and Planned Maintenance Program. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track outstanding work in the system for their area.
- Review and maintain equipment information in the SAP Hierarchy.
- Add spare part SAP# numbers to the BOM for each equipment as they are entered into SAP.
- Provide regular reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop a comprehensive 2-week frozen schedule in conjunction with the Production Schedule.
- Track completion of PMs and create a weekly PM compliance report.
- Review changes to PMs requested by the trades and document any changes made.
- Ensure minimal overdue work orders (PMs and MRs) and report on any seriously overdue work orders.
- Maintain all calibration records and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Participate in all Zone audits.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary school education in a technical field or trade certification as Millwright or Electrician is preferred.
- Good knowledge of SAP software and CMMS is strongly preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in combination with trade and Maintenance Planning is required.
- A high sense of accountability, self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
