About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Spacious Construction Corp. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare and submit accurate construction project budget estimates, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors, ensuring they meet the required quality and safety standards.
  • Project Scheduling: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Procurement: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project progress, highlighting any issues or concerns that need to be addressed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000.
