Job Overview

Westcon Precast Inc is seeking a dedicated Precast Concrete Finisher to join our team. This role involves working in an industrial environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment

The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to handle heavy loads, as well as the capability to bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
  • Utilize power vibrators to effectively compact concrete.
  • Tamp concrete using electric vibrators.
  • Set up necessary equipment for concrete pouring.
  • Fill molds with concrete and ensure proper placement.
  • Secure steel bars or metal mesh within concrete forms to enhance structural integrity.
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain work requirements.
Specialization

This role focuses on poured concrete techniques.

Transportation Requirements

Personal transportation is necessary for commuting to the work site.
