The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in delivering sales assistance to the Sales team, which includes responsibilities such as preparing month-end reports, notifying about rate increases, and managing tender submissions. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will be tasked with generating and analyzing strategic reports that pertain to fleet efficiency, dock operations, and delivery performance, while also identifying areas for enhancement through careful measurement and analysis. Key responsibilities include:

Evaluate sales and quotation reports to pinpoint trends, growth opportunities, and potential issues, and present findings to the Sales Team. Prepare rate proposals, advance them to the proposal stage, and ensure timely follow-up. Engage with specific clients for after-sales service and development calls as necessary. Conduct outreach calls to prospective clients. Monitor sales activities and compile monthly sales reports. Relay customer requirements and inquiries to operations and administration, ensuring resolution when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must possess post-secondary education in a relevant field such as commerce, business administration, or logistics. A solid understanding of sales operations and/or the LTL trucking sector is essential. Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word, is required. Candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A positive and enthusiastic demeanor when interacting with potential and existing customers is crucial. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to meet deadlines with minimal supervision are necessary. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is mandatory.
