Role Overview:
The Senior Manager of Organizational Change Management for S4 will be instrumental in guiding the strategic direction and execution of change management initiatives within the S4 HANA implementation project. This critical position requires an experienced professional adept at integrating change management practices, engaging stakeholders, and developing training programs to ensure effective adoption of the new system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage change management activities related to SAP S4HANA, overseeing resources within the implementation team.
- Work collaboratively with system implementation consultants to embed change management strategies into the project framework.
- Create and execute a customized change management strategy for SAP S/4HANA, tailored to the unique culture and needs of the organization.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to address concerns, gather insights, and secure support for the implementation.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders updated on project progress and changes impacting business processes.
- Conduct thorough change impact assessments and collaborate with Change Champions to formulate mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the design and delivery of training programs to ensure users are proficient in SAP S/4HANA.
- Identify potential risks and resistance related to personnel changes, working with Change Champions to create targeted response plans.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change management efforts and overall project success.
- Act as a visible mentor to business and IT leaders, Change Champions, and consultants, promoting the adoption of change initiatives.
- Prepare presentations for various stakeholder groups and assist in the development of communications to enhance awareness and understanding of the S/4HANA implementation.
- Implement reinforcement strategies and celebrate achievements to sustain change initiatives, involving consultants in recognition activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading change management efforts in large-scale SAP implementations, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong grasp of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders across the organization.
- Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies.
- Experience managing system implementation consultants and coordinating their activities with internal teams.
- Experience in conducting change impact assessments and creating mitigation strategies.
- Strong project management skills, adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale, multi-regional, and multicultural initiatives.
- Excellent active listening skills, analytical abilities, and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is advantageous.
General Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of relevant business experience.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Able to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with tight deadlines.
- Skilled in creating presentations and communications tailored to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build credibility and foster strong client relationships.
- Attention to detail and strong task orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to high-quality work.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Change Management tools such as video editors and analytics.
