We are expanding our IT team and seeking an Application Support Analyst with a proactive attitude to serve as the primary resource for all functional, application, and user support related to our ERP Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 system (transitioning to D365). The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of over 10 members located in Canada and the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support to Dynamics AX end users to ensure smooth and efficient business operations (Act as the main contact for all functional and application AX support);
  • Conduct general technical troubleshooting and offer guidance to Finance/Accounting teams;
  • Comprehend business requirements and document any workaround solutions for functions and processes that encounter issues;
  • Assist end users with all functional modules and provide desktop coaching and training on procedures and applications as necessary;
  • Maintain AX documentation and standards, translating business knowledge into functional requirements promptly;
  • Collaborate with the IT Systems Development team to enhance communication and understanding of business processes and system functionalities;
  • Update AX documentation as needed;
  • Manage Security Administration and setup for Dynamics AX.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent certifications and experience;
  • Bilingual proficiency (English is essential to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec);
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of ERP experience in a support or administrative role, with some involvement in technical database or development tasks preferred (Dynamics AX and/or D365 F&O experience is a plus);
  • One (1) to three (3) years of CRM experience in a support or administrative role with some involvement in technical database or development tasks is advantageous;
  • Ability to adapt to sudden changes in project priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure in a constructive manner;
  • Proficient in understanding business processes;
  • Comprehensive exposure and understanding of various ERP modules;
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

Additional Assets:

  • Capability to learn and analyze business processes and requirements;
  • Experience with manufacturing processes;
  • Understanding of intercompany transactions;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform;
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience in a Microsoft environment (Windows and Office365);
  • Experience with Dynamics 365;
  • Experience using a Help Desk solution.
