We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst & System Support to join our team in a hybrid work environment. This role is pivotal in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with the Senior Finance Manager on various financial reporting aspects, including:
    • Management of inventory, including obsolescence, revaluation, and costing inquiries.
    • Oversight of revenue provisions, including analysis and support.
    • Preparation of monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
    • Assistance with compliance on certain SOX controls.
  • Act as a key resource for supporting essential financial systems, tools, and processes, including:
    • Cash flow forecasting assistance.
    • Support for corporate requirements regarding intercompany transactions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies, providing recommendations to finance leadership.
  • Support finance and FP&A with ad-hoc requests and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis.
  • CPA designation (or in progress) is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Interest in financial systems and tools, with a focus on automation opportunities.
  • Professional, self-motivated, autonomous, energetic, and eager to learn.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
