Position Overview:
The Tax Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing corporate tax obligations across all legal entities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file corporate income tax returns for all legal entities.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax-related accounting and external financial disclosures.
- Develop current and deferred tax provisions, along with necessary supporting documentation.
- Compile financial statements for legal entities to facilitate tax return submissions.
- Adhere to internal controls regarding financial reporting and tax disclosure.
- Prepare documentation to support external income tax audits.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and generate management reports as needed.
- Assist with tax research and analysis as required.
- Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A professional accounting designation (CPA) is mandatory, with a solid understanding of Canadian tax regulations.
- Familiarity with tax accounting principles under IFRS is essential.
- Experience within the real estate sector is considered an asset.

- Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.
- A collaborative team player with a strong sense of integrity.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, TaxPrep, and TaxPrep Forms.
