Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Culinary Operations Manager in a thriving manufacturing environment. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $57,000 annually, with a commitment of 40 to 50 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and train kitchen staff in essential job functions, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Assess and calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Compile food order summaries for the head chef.
  • Instruct staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Lead and mentor kitchen personnel.
  • Design menus that adhere to quality standards and dietary requirements.
  • Supervise the activities of sous-chefs, specialty chefs, and cooks.
  • Introduce and demonstrate innovative cooking techniques and equipment to the culinary team.
  • Regularly prepare and cook meals, including specialty dishes for events.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 individuals.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid Food Safety Certificate.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and high-pressure setting.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking required.

Eligibility Criteria
