About Us: Volunteer Manitoba is a non-profit organization that connects volunteers with community organizations. We are committed to promoting volunteerism and community engagement.

About the Role: We are seeking a Member at Large to join our Board of Directors. As a Member at Large, you will play an active role in supporting the mission of Scleroderma Manitoba and contributing to the decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend scheduled board meetings and participate in discussions
  • Participate in at least one board committee (finance, education, or communication)
  • Support the mission of Scleroderma Manitoba
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Represent the organization at community events

Requirements:

  • Mature individual with excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in participating on a volunteer board
  • Previous participation in fundraising events
  • Basic awareness of scleroderma
  • Computer skills and experience with Zoom and Dropbox
