Job Summary

LAPIS INVESTMENT LTD. is seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of laundry services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and Add Chemicals: Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to ensure optimal cleaning results.
  • Operate Laundry Equipment: Operate machines to dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and leather garments, as well as steam pressers and hand irons.
  • Hand Fold and Bag Articles: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are properly prepared for delivery.
  • Check and Record Quality: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met, and record any damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including matching invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Hot, noisy, and odorous work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Hotel laundry.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Steam press (laundry), washing machines.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
