SAGE Dining Services is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team at an independent school in the greater Toronto area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Interact positively with guests and team members, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Dispose of waste and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
  • Restock and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
  • Prior commercial dishwashing experience is preferred, but we can teach any motivated individual.
