About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Trenton Financial and Insurance Services Inc. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements
    • Design and integrate website-related code
    • Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance
    • Develop website architecture
    • Write, modify, and test website-related code
  • Software Development
    • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code
    • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
    • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
  • Technical Support
    • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions
    • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
    • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the Website
  • Team Collaboration
    • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
    • Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and Java
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies
    • Knowledge of XML technology (XSL, XSD, DTD)
    • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and other design tools
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
