About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our team at J.P. Metal Masters 2000 Inc. as a key member of our fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form complex structures
  • Operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to precision-cut and shape metal components
  • Construct patterns and templates to meet project specifications
  • Install fabricated components into final products with attention to detail
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite with safety and efficiency
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment
  • Utilize hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to operate machinery and perform tasks
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
