We are currently offering permanent positions for caregiver assistants across various shifts in the following areas:

  • Medical Units 5A and 8A and Surgical Departments
  • Long-term Care Facilities

In this position, you will deliver essential care to patients, focusing on hygiene, comfort, and monitoring. Your responsibilities will include ensuring their overall well-being, addressing their needs, and fostering engagement in a secure environment. Specifically, your tasks may involve:

  • Administering basic care to patients (assisting with bathing and dressing)
  • Supporting patients with mobility and transportation
  • Assisting patients during meals, getting up, and at bedtime
  • Communicating patient health and behavior information to the healthcare team
  • Assisting in the setup of specific devices for which you have received training
  • Ensuring the availability, upkeep, and proper operation of equipment
  • Transporting equipment, samples, and records

Requirements:

  • Possess a DEP - Health Care Facility Support (APED or APES)
