About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at GAGE METAL CLADDING LIMITED. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Train and mentor new drafting personnel
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with clients and stakeholders to establish product requirements
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
