Sechelt Hospital is a 46-bed acute care facility serving over 30,000 residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast. Our hospital provides a range of services, including emergency care, renal programs, mental health and substance use services, surgical services, and imaging services.
Qualifications- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing specialty program in perinatal nursing or two years' recent, related experience.
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family-centered model of care.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implement care plans, assess client responses, and respond appropriately.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare staff.
