Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Long Term Care Manager or designate, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, and recreational needs. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mealtime and hydration
  • Participate in recreational activities and programs
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Document resident care and progress
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 education plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
