About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GTS Ventures Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure that all food and service meet the highest quality standards. This will include developing and maintaining work schedules, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff Activities

The Food Service Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This will include establishing methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and establishing work schedules.

Train and Develop Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for training and developing staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards. This will include providing ongoing training and coaching to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their duties to the highest standard.

Ensure Quality Control Standards

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This will include conducting regular quality control checks, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to ensure that all food and service meet the highest standards.

Requirements
  • Education

A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is required for this position.

Language

Fluency in English is required for this role.

Work Hours

40 hours per week is the standard work schedule for this role.
