Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Montana's BBQ & Bar. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise and train staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Mentorship programs to support the development of staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Cross-cultural training to promote understanding and respect for diverse cultures.
- Accessibility training to ensure that our restaurant is welcoming and inclusive for all customers and staff.
