About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at BC Hydro. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our internal and external communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans to engage stakeholders, promote our brand, and support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment across the organization.
  • Manage and maintain our corporate website, social media channels, and other digital platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Design and produce engaging content, including reports, newsletters, and other materials to support our communications goals.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on communications-related matters, including crisis communications and media relations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
