Taxation Senior Manager

The Taxation Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing various tax-related initiatives within the organization. This position requires a robust combination of accounting acumen and tax research expertise, alongside a deep understanding of corporate tax regulations, including premium, sales, and indirect commodity taxes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate working documents to substantiate corporate tax and information submissions
- Examine Segregated Fund documentation for trust-related information
- Support Policyholder tax return preparations
- Compile quarterly and annual tax provisions
- Oversee tax compliance and governance procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through automation
- Conduct research and offer insights on tax-related matters
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in tax post-graduation
- FLMI designation is a plus
- Proficient in computer applications, especially advanced Excel
- In-depth knowledge of the insurance sector
- Exceptional attention to detail
