Job Summary

Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a policy and staffing analysis project focused on Correctional Services' workforce needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the workforce composition and front-line organizational structure of the Custody Operations Branch continue to meet the operational and business needs of the Division and Ministry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project management related deliverables, such as status reports, steering committee slide decks, key project decision documents, project plan, and other common project management documents/deliverables.
  • Ensure that key project management activities are maintained, including identifying and establishing project goals, needs, and scope, planning, monitoring, and documenting tasks throughout the project.
  • Manage project resources, foster effective communication with stakeholders concerning project status, and foresee and strategically eliminate/mitigate potential risks.
  • Document process and progress using various project management tools, ensure roles and responsibilities of project participants are clearly defined, and provide the steering committee with regular status updates.
  • Assist project team with facilitation of group discussions among project contributors to gather and synthesize feedback.

Requirements

  • Part-time (average of 20 hours/week) with the precise schedule to be determined in discussion with the hiring area.
  • Hours will fall between 0815 and 1630 ET, with some flexibility in scheduling within those hours required.
  • Must be located within Alberta to access provided computer equipment.
