About the Role
Vocantas is seeking a skilled Implementation Specialist to work remotely on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will possess a genuine enthusiasm for technology and a strong commitment to prioritizing customer satisfaction.
The Implementation Specialist will be tasked with assessing, planning, installing, configuring, and deploying intricate web and telephony applications within a distributed framework. This includes both cloud-based and on-premise software components, as well as upgrading existing applications. Following deployment, the Specialist will facilitate knowledge transfer to customer support and may assist in the investigation and resolution of escalated customer-reported issues.
Technical Expertise Required:
- Proficient in web application technologies, networking principles, and troubleshooting tools
- Familiarity with SQL and database management systems
- Experience with domain environments such as Active Directory or LDAP, SAML2, etc.
- Comprehension of VOIP telephony principles
- Basic scripting skills in Windows and/or Linux environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in deploying and configuring .NET web applications within a Windows Server environment
- Familiarity with virtual machine environments, preferably VMWare
- Administration skills in Microsoft Windows Server and Linux
- Experience in troubleshooting networked applications
- Knowledge of telephony systems (PBXs, Telco, CTI, Dialogic, Asterisk, OpenSIPS, etc.) including configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with automated speech recognition (ASR) and IVR applications
- Involvement in system-level quality assurance (QA)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
Non-Technical Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong customer relations and support capabilities
- Self-motivated with outstanding problem-solving abilities
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Ability to guide and assist in resolving issues
Educational Background:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Professional certifications and courses are considered an asset
