We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our team at Nutrition International. As a key member of our Global Technical Services (GTS) Unit, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of our projects and programs.

Job Summary:

The Technical Consultant will provide technical support and coordination for our projects, including analyzing and interpreting findings from routine monitoring and research. You will also coordinate technical advice provision by GTS or external experts, assess and monitor the project team's technical capacity and resource needs, and quality assure project management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and coordination for project implementation
  • Analyze and interpret findings from routine monitoring and research

  • Support design, implementation, and knowledge exchange of research studies

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate level degree in nutrition or public health, or relevant discipline with significant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in nutrition, public health, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience working in programs related to child survival, health and nutrition, maternal health and nutrition, and/or adolescent health and nutrition
  • Understanding of health systems and girls' and women's health and equity issues
  • International development experience, preferably in low- and middle-income countries
  • Experience with gender-responsive program design and implementation is an asset
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
