About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have a clear understanding of our inventory levels and can make informed decisions about ordering and supply chain management.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented to a high standard.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and leading a high-performing team. You will have a strong background in food service management, with experience in supervising and training staff, as well as managing inventory and supply chain operations.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in food service management, with a strong background in supervising and training staff.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
