Scriptwriter and Story Development Consultant

Job Summary:

Nest is seeking a highly skilled Scriptwriter and Story Development Consultant to join our team and contribute to the creation of a groundbreaking Esports Drama series. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for guiding us through the development process, from concept to filming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Refine Character Arcs: Collaborate with our team to create complex and engaging character profiles, including backstories, motivations, and dynamics.
  • Structure the Overall Story: Assist in crafting a cohesive and compelling narrative, ensuring a smooth transition between scenes and a satisfying conclusion.
  • Scriptwriting and Guidance: Provide expert guidance on scriptwriting, helping to translate our ideas into a professional script ready for production.
  • Transition to Production: Work closely with us to prepare for the transition to more advanced stages of production, including filming.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A proven track record of character and plot development within the TV/Film industry.
  • Strong Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in TV/Film, particularly in drama or series development.
  • Scriptwriting Expertise: A deep understanding of scriptwriting, including narrative pacing, dialogue creation, and character-driven storytelling.
  • Collaborative Mindset: The ability to work collaboratively with a team that is new to the industry, providing mentorship and guidance throughout the process.
