We are seeking an Environmental Safety Specialist to join our team at Com2 Recycling Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on environmental safety and health regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct surveys and monitoring programs of the natural environment to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Collect and analyze samples of materials to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inspect workplaces to identify safety and health hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Investigate workplace accidents and illnesses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement health and safety plans to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure that all employees are trained on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 1-2 years of experience in environmental safety and health.
