Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Two Hills Liquor Store.
Job SummaryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of merchandise as needed.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that they are followed.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
This is a permanent full-time position working 32 to 40 hours per week in a retail business environment.
