Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Two Hills Liquor Store.
Job SummaryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of merchandise to ensure that the store is stocked with the right products.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that the store is staffed appropriately during peak periods.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is stocked with the right products.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- English language proficiency.
- Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
