Position Overview:
Responsible for the safe operation of a heavy-duty vehicle on designated collection routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and company regulations
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Identify and report any hazardous conditions or service requests
  • Engage in regular training sessions and team meetings
  • Collaborate with Route Managers to enhance operational efficiency
  • Report incidents, accidents, or damage to property
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns
  • Empty containers and ensure the work area is left tidy
  • Properly position containers on customer premises

Requirements:
A. Education and Experience:

  • Education: No formal education required
  • Experience: Previous experience is not necessary

B. Certifications, Licenses, and Other Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Possess a valid DZ or Class 3 license with air-brake endorsement
  • CDL certification is mandatory
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
  • Must have an acceptable driving history
