Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at Ironwood Manufactured Homes Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction of high-quality manufactured homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the measurement, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining of materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Help fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Participate in pre-apprenticeship training and ongoing skill development.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a strong team player attitude.
  • Reliability and a commitment to safety protocols.

Work Environment
