Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at National Sweets & Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise the assembly of trays.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
